Eid al-Adha is just around the corner and we’re sure you have your plans in place. However, if you’re not traveling, we suggest you head to Abu Dhabi to catch the grand display of fireworks.
Eid al-Adha is expected to fall on 11 August. The season of Haj will then kick off on 1 August and Abu Dhabi has plans in place. Come August Abu Dhabi’s Yas Marina will transform into a venue of light and colours. Wondering how? On the occasion of Eid-al-Adha, Yas Marina is hosting a spectacular display of firework for three days.What’s It?
Earlier, Eid fireworks were spread across La Mer, and Al Seef. However, this year Dubai residents can view the fireworks only at Festival City. You can watch the Eid fireworks on 11 and 12 August from 8-10 pm, at Festival City’s IMAGINE- the spectacular water, light and laser show.
Abu Dhabi residents can head to Yas Marina for a spectacular display. The fireworks will be on display from 12-14 August from 9:00 pm-9:06 pm. And if you want to make the event extra memorable, catch the fireworks from the deck of a dhow ship. Doesn’t that sound like a plan?
