On September 26, a report by CNN stated that the comet completes its orbit every 80,000 years. The rare astronomical event left the city’s skywatchers and astronomers in a tizzy. Appearing as a fuzzy star to the naked eye, this phenomenon is only made magnanimous by the sheer extravaganza of colours in the sky. It looked no less than an oil painting that deviated from the ordinary to adhere to a sprinkle of magic.

Residents left no stone unturned to document the rare sight. Many shared breathtaking photos of the Bengaluru sky on X (formerly Twitter). X user @aadhyakryl shared a picture of the astronomical phenomenon and we’re at a loss for words.
