On July 16, Sunday Emirates announced that they are the main sponsor and official airline for the King Salman Club Cup 2023. It should be noted that this new sponsorship is in line with the airline’s ensuring its effort to support the kingdom’s Vision 2030 ambition of becoming a global centre for professional sport. A Brief Glimpse About The Tournament
This sponsorship hardly comes as a surprise, since the airline has been operating in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for over 30 years. As it happens, currently, 67 weekly flights to destinations of Riyadh, Dammam, Medina, and Jeddah are being operated! Talking about the tournament, it will begin on July 27 and will go on till August 12, happening at several stadiums in Abha, Albaha, and Ta’if. Not to mention, this airline will receive its on-site promotion, opportunities, and hospitality rights. Additionally, it will also benefit from the digital rights on the tournament channel! So as a result, this will lead to a trophy presentation during the final match! It should be noted that this is the 30th season of the King Salman Cup and it is the Arab World’s official club championship organised by the Union of Arab Football Association.
So with this news, Emirates plans to get fans closer to the action!
