Emirates is constantly trying to ensure that its flyers have the ultimate flying experience that starts right from the ground. And recently, keeping up with the idea, the airline closed its first class check-in area at the Dubai International Airport for a few months. This is for a makeover following which passengers will be in for a luxe experience.
Emirates Closing First Class Check-In Area
Emirates has closed its first-class check-in area at the Dubai International Airport. As reported by Khaleej Times, once it reopens, passengers will be able to step through private doors. Not to mention, they will also be able to check-in from the luxurious private lounge. However, in the meantime, passengers who are bound for the US and other destinations will have to use the check-in desk at Terminal 3. Until June 2025, the first-class check-in area at Dubai International Airport will remain closed. For this purpose, the first class check-in desks 54 to 60 can be used for flights to the US and 16 to 20 can be used for all the other destinations.
At this point, it’s worth mentioning that Emirates has seven lounges at DXB. Three of them are first-class, three of them are for business class and there is a newly opened Emirates Lounge, which caters to all premium customers. The airline’s first-class passengers enjoy seamless transit at Dubai Airport with a variety of benefits that are offering dedicated services like expedited, security, and escort to their departure lounge.

What Can You Expect When It Reopens?
Emirates revealed on its website that soon when customers travel in first class, they can arrive at the Dubai Airport in a chauffeur-driven car. Not only this, they will be able to check-in from their luxurious private lounge while stepping through private doors into a peaceful space where they can relax on plush sofas, and the check-in team will be taking their bags and serving them personally. This is truly brilliant for people who don’t mind spending extra for the extravagance and luxury of travelling first class.
