The last day for the ITB Berlin, a travel-based event, was on March 7. And during this event, airlines made some big announcements at their stands. As it happens, Emirates was not behind on this either. From signing a Memorandum of Understanding to renewing partnerships, the airline reveals some important updates. They are as follows!
Emirates Signs MoU With ITA Airways
During the event, Emirates signed an MOU to expand its existing interline into a full codeshare partnership. Once this is activated, the codeshare is bound to boost travel options and connection choices for customers who are travelling between Dubai, Italy, and beyond. Not to mention, it also established the foundations for strengthening the partnership between the two airlines.
It Renewed Its Partnership With TUI Cruises & AIDA Cruises
Emirates also renewed its partnership with TUI Cruises. This partnership has been renewed for the upcoming two seasons and it was signed on the sidelines of the ITB Berlin. As a result, this move underscores the airline’s commitment towards working with like-minded partners. Travellers will be offered seamless travel experiences, both on the ground and in the air through its dedicated cruise terminal check-in areas. As it happens, emirates will also be working closely with TUI Cruises to offer dedicated flight options. These will be closely aligned with the upcoming cruise schedules and ensure a more seamless transition from air to sea, for travellers.
As it happens, Dubai-based airlines also renewed its partnership with AIDA Cruises. This has been renewed for two seasons and it is aligned with Dubai’s efforts to significantly grow its capacity.

These would be from top inbound markets like the UAE, India, the US, Australia, and China.
While in its pledge to the Austrian National Tourist Office, it gave its commitment towards boosting inbound visitors to the nation. For this, it would be launching new marketing and advertising campaigns to boost the numbers from markets like the UAE, Japan, India, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Australia.
