Dubai-based airline, Emirates is constantly trying to make flying an exquisite experience for travellers. And for this purpose, they’re doing something special, especially for those flying to Sydney. Yes, Emirates recently announced that it will be operating all its services on its A380 aircraft. Here’s all you need to know about this development on the route.

Emirates Upgrades All Sydney Flights To A380

As all three slots are in use at the airport, Emirates is going to be able to commit approximately 2,000 extra weekly seats with this upgrade. So, as the airline moves to the double-decker aircraft, on its third daily flight, this transition will happen on November 4. This will be set in a three-class configuration which offers 489 seats and will further replace the Boeing 777-300ER.

Moreover, the aircraft is currently deployed as EK416 and 417 and with each return flight, 260 extra daily seats will be added. it should be noted that the airline also mentioned that along with the third A380 service, two, other Sydney A380 four-class services will also be added, which offer the latest Premium Economy Cabins. Not to mention, the airline currently operates 63 weekly flights to Australia.

Resuming Flights To Adelaide?

Additionally, it’s worth mentioning here that the third flight will depart from Dubai at 9:30 PM and will arrive in Sydney at 6:20 PM local time. Moreover, the return flight will depart from Sydney at 9:10 PM and will arrive back in Dubai at 4:30 AM local time.

As it happens, Emirates is also planning to reintroduce its services to Adelaide. Yes, it’s in talks with the Adelaide Airport for the re-commencement of non-stop services. So with the introduction of Airbus A350 in the summer of 2024, there will be a further expansion of the airline’s global network.
