This revised licensing fee schedule is going to be effective from January 1, 2025. In fact, it is a part of its transitional arrangement for island businesses.

2. Dubai South Completes 1st Stage Of UAE’s Autonomous Vehicle Trials

Dubai South, which is the largest single-urban master development announced the successful completion of the first stage of the UAE’s autonomous vehicle trials. Yes, this is in partnership with Evocargo! These trials were carried out on a set route and it was in a closed area of the Dubai South Logistics District.

3. Emirates Travel Store Opens In Hong Kong

Emirates has now opened its travel store in Hong Kong. A significant milestone in its expansion in the city, this marks the first Emirates Travel Store in the Far East region. Not to mention, it is a part of the retail blueprint that will roll out in phases across the wider Far East region and of course on the airline’s global network.

4. Family Development Foundation Launches Our Summer Is Special Programme

Family Development Foundation has now launched Our Summer Is Special Programme at the Children and Youth Club Centres in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and Al Dhafra. These activities will be running throughout July! Yes, and during the activities, children will be taught life skills and healthy eating habits and will be educated about the concept of rights and duties. In fact, it includes a range of awareness, educational, and recreational workshops. Not to mention, the focus is on developing personal and family relations skills.

5. Abu Dhabi Buildings Light Up In Colours Of Indonesian Flag

Several iconic buildings in Abu Dhabi lit up in the colours of the Indonesian flag. This was done to commemorate and welcome His Excellency Joko Widodo. In case you aren’t aware, he is the President of the Republic of Indonesia and is currently visiting the UAE. The buildings lighting up in the colours of the Indonesia flag were truly a sight to behold.
