Etihad Airways Plans To Increase Flights In 2024
Recently Etihad Airways announced that it will be increasing its frequency of flights for several destinations. Yes, in this announcement, it was also mentioned that it plans to increase extra flights to several destinations, like Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, India, Europe, Lebanon, America, and others. As it happens, the latest increase means that now the airline will offer nearly 27% more weekly departures as compared to the previous summer, as mentioned in a report by the Arabian Business.

While announcing its 2024 flight increase plans, the airline mentioned that it would be increasing its number of flights to the cities of Jeddah, Riyadh, Amman, Beirut, Columbo, Kolkata, and Bangalore. As such, this enhancement in the number of flights is also part of the airline’s ambitious expansion of flights and frequencies for bolstering the emirate’s global reach.

A Look At The Addition Of New Flights For The Cities

Jeddah: +7 per week, starting on March 15, 2024
Riyadh: +7 per week, starting on March 15, 2024
Amman: +4 per week, starting on June 15, 2024
Beirut: +2 per week, starting on June 15, 2024
Colombo: +4 per week, starting on June 15, 2024
Kolkata: +1 per week, starting on June 15, 2024
Bangalore: +3 per week, starting on June 15, 2024
At this point, it’s worth mentioning that this announcement comes after earlier it was notified by the airline that it plans to increase flight frequencies for several destinations. These included cities like Bangkok, Athens, and Malaga, to name a select few. Not to mention, new routes for Kozhikode and Thiruvananthapuram were also announced.
