What Is It?
Bringing to you the best of wines and food in an exclusive weekend experience is the 101 Food & Wine Dinner at the famous Taj Falaknuma Palace in Hyderabad. A food experience that is created by two-Michelin star Chef Srijith Gopinathan of Taj’s Campton Place Restaurant in San Francisco.

What’s In it?
Taj has renowned legacy of unique culinary traditions always and also promises a glimpse of the imperial lifestyle of the nizams who ruled the 400-year-old city.
The Falaknuma Palace brings to you grandeur of a bygone regal era and an experience of a lifetime. It houses the dining table is the world’s longest at 80ft.
The 101 Food and Wine Dinner at Taj Falaknuma offers its guest an all-round unique gourmet experience. International wine experts have gotten together with Chef Srijith’s Californian-Indian cuisine to create a perfect symphony between wine and food.
A beautiful dinner hosted at the 101-seat dining table with a very distinctive menu which uses highlights from Hyderabadi cuisine. The 101 chairs at the table are identical with green leather except for the one chair i.e of Nizam. A royal ambience is created by the presence of 5 Belgian chandeliers hanging from the ceiling.
Though now this dinner is reserved for exclusive dinner events at the hotel but nevertheless, it’s amazing!
What mesmerises us is that there are 28 beautiful paintings on the walls that depict various food items and it is said that the Nizam used to point to the items he wanted to eat, which were then served to him. According to the changed times, however, the diners will have to pick from a buffet spread.

Taj Falaknuma is also famous for its Jade room and artefacts the Nizams collected from across the world. You can chose to stay in the Palace and the charges are:
- ₹95,000 for its royal suites
- ₹80,000 for its palace (luxury) rooms
- ₹65,000 for ordinary luxury rooms
(For two-night stay, inclusive of breakfast, lunch and dinner at its all-day dining restaurant)
