The spectacular light art festival, Dhai Dubai, is finally making its return this year. Yes, this is an Emirati-led light art exhibition, and it will be lighting up the Al Wasl Plaza. Dhai Dubai Returns To Emirate
As revealed in a post by the Dubai Media Office, Expo City and the Dubai Culture & Arts Authority are bringing back the second edition of Dhai Dubai. For those who are wondering, this is the first Emirati-led light art exhibition. It is coming back to the Emirates from November 12th to 18th, and the flagship event will celebrate light heritage and creativity. A celebration of the rich legacy of the emirate, the festival will take advantage of the state-of-the-art immersive dome, which is at Al Wasl Plaza.

For this year’s edition, the event will highlight how traditions continue to shape and inspire modern art. Moreover, seven brand-new commissions by top Emirati artists will also be present. These include renowned names – Fatma Lootah, Mohammed Kazem, AlZaina Lootah, Ahmed Al Areef Al Dhaheri, Khalid AlBanna, Alia Bin Omair, and Hessa Alghandi

As it happens, each sculpture will explore the spiritual, emotional and artistic resonance. All of this will be within the Emirati culture! Besides the spectacular new commissions, there will also be public dialogues and artist talks, which will be hosted at the House of Arts. The best bit? This event is absolutely free to attend!
