Look, we love a good sun-drenched day out, but let’s not pretend Dubai summers don’t roast us like shawarma. So, if you wish for an affordable outing that won’t turn you into human toast, there’s one peaceful, air-conditioned haven that ticks all the boxes it’s Quranic Park in Al Khawaneej.
Quranic Parks, The Only Park You Should Visit This Scorching Dubai Summer
Quranic Park is where nature meets spirituality in an air-conditioned atmosphere. Inspired entirely by the Holy Quran, the park spans a massive 64 hectares and is loaded with lush Islamic gardens, desert greenery, and even a dedicated section to Andalusia. Entry to the park? Absolutely free. Just pay AED 5 each for the two indoor gems, the Cave of Miracles and the Glass House. Both are gloriously air-conditioned, which is reason enough to go.
Inside the Cave of Miracles, watch stories from the Quran come to life with smart tech and interactive exhibits. You can visit for free, and other powerful moments are displayed with clever visuals. Over at the Glass House, rare plants mentioned in the Quran grow in controlled climates.
Oh, and entry to these two indoor spots is free for children under six and People of Determination. You’ll just need your NOL card to tap in. The park stays open from 9 am to 9 pm, so whether you’re an early bird or twilight stroller, you’re covered.
Food, Fun And A Few Rules
Grab a quick bite at One Coffee House inside the park or head straight to Last Exit Al Khawaneej, just a few minutes away. Quranic Park is full of food trucks serving everything from burgers to coffee to dangerously addictive mini doughnuts. We’re looking at you, DOH and Mr Brisket.
There’s a kid-friendly outdoor play area too. And if you are planning a picnic this summer in Dubai, then pack a basket and sprawl under the trees. Don’t forget your camera either, the park’s solar trees, scenic walking paths and Islamic garden designs are gram-worthy in every season.

How To Get There?
If you’re hopping on the Dubai Metro, just ride it to Centerpoint on the red line. Once you’re out, wave down a cab, it’s a quick 10-minute drive from there. Prefer buses? Routes 11A and 11B will drop you fairly close, but heads up, you’ll have to deal with short walk to the park. Prefer driving? Pop ‘Quranic Park’ into Google Maps and follow signs once you hit the Mizhar neighbourhood. Free parking is available, which is a rare Dubai miracle in itself.
Final Verdict? For AED 10 and some decent walking shoes, you get interactive learning, lush greenery, air-conditioned bliss, and a wholesome day out at Quranic Park. It’s educational and a budget-friendly plan. So save this spot for your next weekend this summer.
