It’s a milestone that marks Doha’s entry as a premier dining destination club. The much-anticipated, invite-only launch event will take place on December 12th, 2024, at Katara Hall in Raffles Doha. This red-carpet event celebrates Doha’s top dining establishments, bringing global recognition to the city’s diverse food scene and further elevating Qatar’s status in the culinary world.
MICHELIN Guide Has Finally Arrived In Doha!
Doha’s diverse and high-calibre dining options range from elegant hotel restaurants to vibrant eateries along the Corniche. Gwendal Poullennec, International Director of the MICHELIN Guides, highlights that their famously anonymous inspectors have scoured the city to identify the best of Doha’s cuisine, making this launch both exciting and historically significant.
With the support of Qatar Tourism, Michelin Guide has finally set its eyes on the country and aims to provide a seat on the International culinary map.

The lesser-known category of the Michelin Guide is the Bib Gourmand. The eligibility criteria for spotlighting eateries that offer outstanding dishes at accessible prices.
