Sharjah Taxi, which is a part of Osool Transport Solution, has now started testing its first electric vehicles! Yes, in a report by Khaleej Times, it was mentioned that this testing is happening at the Sharjah International Airport. This is big news, as the testing of the limousine fleet is an attempt that aims to move towards environmentally friendly transportation in this emirate. So, with this move, they aim to achieve the goal of carbon-free public transport by 2050. At this point, it should be noted that the Skywell electric vehicle is an eco-friendly albeit safe transportation mode. The report mentioned that it not only contributes towards reducing harmful carbon emissions but also needs the highest standards of customer comfort and safety.

The Emirate Aims To Achieve Carbon-Free Public Transport By 2050

Acting General Manager of Osool Transport Solutions, Khaled Al Kindi was seen quoting in the same report that these vehicles align with their commitment of providing transport, which is not just environment-friendly but also reflects their dedication towards sustainability. Finally, it is worth revealing that Sharjah Taxi has been actively expanding its number of electric charging stations across the emirate. This is being done for catering to several electric vehicles ensuring convenience for users and compatibility. Also plans to explore new optimal economic and environmental outcomes.
