Sweet tooths, prepare for takeoff, your favourite chocolate bar has landed again. The cult-favourite FIX Chocolate is back at Dubai International Airport, and this time, it’s sticking around just in time for Eid Al Adha. If you missed it the first time, don’t make that mistake twice. The sugar rush begins again on Friday, 15th May.
Dubai’s Viral Chocolate Bar Returns To The Airport This May
FIX Dessert Chocolatier confirmed the return on Instagram, and fans went into meltdown. Their viral chocolate bars have become a jet-setting sensation, turning everyday flyers into sweet-seeking detectives. Whether you’re a die-hard fan of “Catch Me If You Pecan”, can’t resist “Can’t Get Knafeh Of It”, or are addicted to “Pick Up A Pretzel”, the pop-up at Terminal 3 is calling your name. Loudly.
Why the hype? Until now, you could only grab a FIX bar on Deliveroo at 2 pm and 5 pm, and only if you were in Dubai or Abu Dhabi. Blink and you’d miss the drop, literally. But now, airport travellers can snap one up just before take-off, turning long-haul flights into chocolate-fuelled joyrides.
The Airport Pop-Up That Went Viral
Earlier this year, FIX made its airport debut at Dubai Duty Free, and the reaction was as dramatic as you’d expect: queues, selfies, and bars vanishing faster than luggage on a carousel. It was meant to be a short pop-up, but the response was so wild, it got extended right through Eid Al Fitr.
Now, as Eid Al Adha approaches, the airport-exclusive stand is back by popular demand. And if last time is anything to go by, it’s going to be swamped.
The return of FIX also coincides with DXB’s reigning title as the world’s busiest international airport. Even more mind-blowing? Reports earlier this year revealed that Dhs1 million worth of pistachio-knafeh bars were being sold every day at DXB—counterfeit or not. That’s a whole lot of dessert diplomacy.
