The number of incidents where passengers are facing inconveniences in airports is skyrocketing these days. It is only the first month of the year and we have already read and heard so much and unending complaints about different airports and airlines, starting from domestic to international places. One of the most common issues is long delays and thousands of passengers suffered from this problem in the past few weeks. Recently, a Vistara passenger took to social media to share his experience of flying with the airline.

Vistara Passenger Asked For Refund From The Airline For A Delay

Taking to the X (formerly Twitter), Aditya (@AzalBlaze) shared his overall experience and everything that happened in between.

According to the plans and scheduled flight ticket, the passenger was about to travel to Udaipur from Patna. The journey on UK-718 was via New Delhi. Aditya mentioned how he received a confirmation from Vistara before booking the flight ticket. The confirmation was that the flight connecting Delhi and Udaipur would be delayed in case of any delays.

About 2 hours before catching the flight, Aditya got to know that he would need to cancel his Udaipur-bound flight from Delhi. Hearing this, he booked a ticket on an IndiGo aircraft to continue his journey to Udaipur from Delhi. Mentioning the information about receiving the confirmation from Vistara and booking an IndiGo ticket to Udaipur from Delhi, he also requested that Vistara refund the amount which is equivalent to what he spent because of the inconveniences.

This is one of the many recent incidents where passengers faced different problems while flying on a plane.
