Fly Jinnah To Start Operations From Islamabad To Sharjah This Feb, Making Travelling Easier!

Travelling between Pakistan and the UAE is bound to become cheaper for the expatriates living in the UAE. Yes, for those who wish to fly to their home country, will now get an option to choose from a daily flight to Islamabad from Sharjah starting on February 17. Yes, Fly Jinnah, which is a low-cost airline from Pakistan has now launched its operations for connecting the two nations.

Fly Jinnah To Launch Operations Between Sharjah-Islamabad

According to a report by Khaleej Times it was mentioned that the website of Fly Jinnah shows airfares that are relatively cheaper. Yes, according to the report, the airfare from Sharjah to Islamabad was at AED1018 on February 17 and the return on February 27. This is approximately AED100 less as compared to other airlines that are operating on the same route.

This Is The South Asian Country’s Budget Carrier

As it happens, this is a budget carrier, so passengers are only allowed to carry hand luggage weighing up to 10 kg. If they wish to carry additional baggage and meals, they will have to shell out more money. With the introduction of this service, the competition is bound to rise on the South Asian route. At this point, it’s worth mentioning that around 1.7 million Pakistani nationals live and work in the UAE. In fact, they are the second-largest community in the nation.

It Currently Flies To Five Destinations

For those who aren’t aware, Fly Jinnah, the nation’s low-cost carrier currently flies to five domestic destinations which include, Quetta, Peshawar, Karachi, Islamabad, and Lahore. However, it’s worth mentioning that this new route hardly comes as a surprise as the airline recently added two new Airbus A320 aircraft to its fleet. Now, it flies five aircraft and it’s also equipped with SkyTime, which is a free in-flight streaming service.
