IndiGo is an Indian airline that serves both domestic and international destinations. In addition to various working flights, the airline is going to launch a direct flight between Lucknow and Varanasi. From timings to date, here is everything you need to know about the new IndiGo flight.

IndiGo To Launch Lucknow-Varanasi Flight!

IndiGo Airlines is getting ready to start a direct flight connecting the historic city of Varanasi with the dynamic metropolis of Lucknow. It is an exciting development for air travellers. On August 10, the eagerly anticipated first flight is set to depart.

It promises a significant reduction in the amount of time required to travel between these two important cities. The flight will take roughly 70 minutes to travel from Lucknow to Varanasi overall. On the other hand, it will take 55 minutes to travel back from Varanasi to Lucknow.

The director of Varanasi Airport, Aryana Sanyal, revealed that IndiGo has received permission to run this new direct flight from the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and has completed all necessary procedures.

Timings Of The New Flight

The flight will be run three times a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, according to the timetable posted on IndiGo’s website. The flight will take off at 2:20 pm from the Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport in Lucknow and land at the Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport in Varanasi at 3:30 pm. Varanasi to Lucknow’s return trip will take place between 4:05 and 5 pm.

Customers who wish to make a reservation for the flight may do so on IndiGo Airlines’ official website. According to the rate displayed, a one-way trip from Varanasi to Lucknow will cost about ₹2,500. After increasing demand from diverse segments of visitors between the two cities, a new aircraft route has been announced.

This practical air link promises to meet the requirements of both visitors and locals, as well as business travellers, enabling increased connectivity and fostering regional travel and commerce.

In the past, IndiGo Airlines began flying between Mumbai and Durgapur in West Bengal and also resumed service between Mumbai and Kannur in Kerala. As of July 1, the new route is open for business.
