Uber is rolling out helicopter taxi services on Italy’s Amalfi Coast this summer. To make travel more convenient, people will be able to book ‘Uber Copter’ between Sorrento and Capri every Saturday and Sunday. With this new service, they will be able to beat traffic and save time. This Summer, Enjoy Uber Copter In Italy’s Amalfi Coast
If you’re planning to travel to Italy this summer, then you’d be glad to know that Uber is making internal commuting much easier for travellers. It will offer helicopter and boat services in Italy to help travellers avoid crowds and traffic. According to NDTV, with Uber Copter, travellers will be able to get around the iconic Amalfi Coast without any stress about traffic with comfortable helicopter taxis.
These private helicopters can be booked in just a few seconds on the Uber app, however, one has to make the booking about 48 hours in advance. Uber Copter will be available for travellers from July 26 to August 23 between Sorrento and Capri in Italy.
Uber Copter will be available for travellers every Saturday and Sunday. As per reports, it will cost €250 (₹24,451) per person, including door-to-door transportation to and from the helipad. It is scheduled to depart from Sorrento at 9 AM and return at 5 PM return from Capri. It is available for groups of up to six passengers.

All You Need To Know About The Boat Services
To further elevate people’s experience, Uber is also launching Uber Boat service with Uber Copter in Italy. The service will be available between July 26 to August 24, 2025. With this, travellers will be able to sail from Sorrento Marina on Italian Gozzo 35 boats. This will allow people to take in the breathtaking views of the Italian coastline and skip traffic. The boat will be able to ferry 12 passengers and will include a personal skipper and complimentary refreshments.

Reports suggest that Italy’s Amalfi Coast will be busier than usual this summer, thanks to the launch of international flights at Salerno Airport. Experts believe that it could lead to potential traffic and ferry congestion as well. At times like this, Uber’s helicopter taxi service will be a great help for travellers.
