Flydubai is a budget carrier from Dubai and it offers passengers the option to fly to several destinations. And recently, it was revealed by the Dubai Media Office that the airline has now announced four new routes in Europe. Yes, it was revealed that soon the airline will begin flights to the destinations of Basel, Riga, Tallinn, and Vilnius.
Flydubai To Add New Four New Europe Destinations
As the airline expands its network in Europe to 43 destinations that are spread across 21 countries, four new destinations are now going to be added later this year. Yes flydubai recently announced its plans to add flights to the cities of Basel, Riga, Tallinn, and Vilnius.
As it happens, it has also become the first UAE national carrier that will operate direct flights to the EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg (BSL). Yes, this will begin on August 2! And it’s worth mentioning that this is the carrier’s first entry into the Baltic region!
This Is The Carrier’s First Entry Into The Baltic Region
Flydubai’s direct flights to the Riga International Airport in Latvia will commence on October 11. While the flight operations to Tallinn Airport (TLL) in Estonia and Vilnius International Airport (VNO) in Lithuania will begin on October 12. In case you’re wondering, the flights will be operating from Terminal 3 of the Dubai International Airport and Emirates will codeshare on these routes. To ensure that customers have optimum comfort, the airline will be using its latest aircraft with lie-flat seats in Business Class.
A Tentative Fare Range
It’s worth mentioning that the return business fares from DXB to BSL begin at AED13,000 while the economy classes lite start at AED1500. The same for DXB to RIX is AED7060 for business class and AED1920 for economy class lite. Similarly, from DXB to TLL it starts at AED10,400 for business class and AED2100 for economy class lite while it is AED7060 for business class and AED2180 for economy class lite for DXB to VNO, as mentioned by Business Traveller.
So, once flydubai begins service on the new Europe routes, you can plan your much-needed vacation right away.
