Yes, we say this because people will no longer have to drop by early at the airport to check in their luggage, as now remote check-in is available at Yas Mall. This service is especially available for people flying with Etihad Airways or Air Arabia from the international airport in Abu Dhabi.

You no longer have to go through the stress of checking-in your luggage, as now you can drive to Yas Mall to drop off your checked-in baggage. Yes, for this purpose a dedicated desk at The Fountains in Yas Mall has popped up. This will allow remote check-in for luggage! Located on the ground floor at The Fountains, the service is accessible every day from 10 AM to 10 PM.
What About The Fee?
If you are wondering about the charges, the fee is AED35 for all passengers over the age of 12 years and AED25 for children, who are under 12 years of age. However, if you are travelling with toddlers below the age of two years. You have to pay AED15 per child. Not to mention, there are no bookings required for remote check-in at the Yas Mall! This means you can just drop by the desk for the check-in.

So once you’ve checked in, on the day of the flight, all you need to do is carry along your cabin luggage and breeze through the process at the airport. In case you’re wondering, the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Airport, Miral, and OACIS ME LLC have collaborated together to bring this initiative to the people.
So, when you’re done checking-in your luggage at the mall, you can either shop for your impending trip or even go and dive into the array of drool-worthy dishes offered at the multitude of restaurants at the mall.
