On Friday, the official news was announced mentioning Air India’s continuation of the Vistara experience with an all-new code. The recent merger will not hamper the travel plans of Vistara customers in any way. Air India has the primary role in operating Vistara aircraft. A special four-digit Air India code has been finalised to recognise the flights easily on the airline website. It will begin with the number ‘2’.

According to Air India’s press release, UK 955 will become AI 2955. This decision will come into effect after November 12, 2024. Flight schedules and air routes operated by Vistara aircraft will remain the same. In addition, Vistara’s in-flight experience will exactly be the same. It includes menu and cutlery options on Vistara flights. The same cabin crew members will provide these services.

The unified Air India ensures coming up with new and enhanced possibilities for passengers, the airline explained in a multi-media campaign. These features comprise an improved connection to more than 90 domestic and international destinations. Also, these offer links to over 800 destinations through codeshare and interline partners.
