Hidden Sips Cafe Vietnam

Introverts, this is for you! Did you know that in Vietnam, there is a cafe hidden in an alleyway that is perfect for those who dread small talk and socialising? Hidden Sips is that place where you can order a glass of iced coffee, matcha, or any other drink without having to make any conversation or even see their face. We are sure you are now getting curious. Here is all you need to know about this cute place.

Hidden Sips Cafe In Vietnam Lets You Order Without Talking

Going out for coffee usually means making small talk with the barista or the cashier. It is easy for many, but not for introverts. Many shy people dread saying even “hey, I would like to order a coffee” to the one taking the order. Introverts would understand that it takes a lot of courage. But now, a spot in Vietnam is going viral on social media for this amazing concept. From placing your order to receiving your drink, you will never see the staff’s faces. The café is called Hidden Sips and is located in Mỹ Tho.

The hut-shaped place is quite small, with a tiny window that looks straight out of a magical land. Outside, there are small cardboard tokens with the names of drinks and their prices written on them. You can choose whichever you like. There are options like matcha latte, cacao ice cream, cacao latte, latte, and more. Just take a slip and place it in a box outside called ‘the secret box’ along with the money.

Ring A Bell And Get Your Drink From A Window

After doing this, you have to ring the bell to place your order and wait for your queue number. After a while, the window opens and a server hands over your drink. You will only see their hands and not their face. Now tell us, how cool does this sound?

From selecting your drink to getting it from a small window that looks enchanted, it feels like playing a game. Locals often call it an ‘introvert cafe’, and they are not wrong. We think the founder of Hidden Sips in Vietnam might just be an introvert, too, which is why they came up with such an idea. It could be their dream to run a coffee and matcha place, but without interacting much with customers.
