Four Season Unveils Saikindō, Abu Dhabi’s First Japanese Hi-Fi Listening Bar

If you’ve spent enough time in Abu Dhabi’s bar scene, you’ll know there’s a plethora of spots to skim through, but you might miss a thing or two.  Nice lighting? Sure, but a solid playlist along? Usually. But a space that treats sound like a main character? That’s rare. And that’s exactly why Saikindō, Abu Dhabi’s first hi-fi bar, is here and is set to become the city’s next obsession.

Saikindō At Four Seasons Abu Dhabi, Where Japanese Soul Meets Abu Dhabi Style

After reviewing bars, lounges that claim to be “experiential,” when I say this new Hi-Fi cocktail bar at Four Seasons Abu Dhabi is playing a different, trust me, it is! Opened in November 2025, Saikindō takes its cues from Japan’s iconic listening bars, those tucked-away spots where people come to listen to music apart from drinking.

A Space That Moves With You

Saikindō’s team is building the entire venue around intention, not just aesthetics. Think warm woods, custom acoustic panels, embroidered finishes, that’s cosy-but-confident, giving major mid-century vibe as mentioned in Four Seasons Press Room. From the little touches everywhere to the textures on the walls and refined details in the furniture, it’s intimate.

The design also nods to Japan’s Metabolism movement, consisting of modular, future-focused architecture blending with the cool swagger of classic spy films and the rowdy energy of Japan’s Bosozoku biker culture. It’s elegant, edgy, and a little mysterious, all in one room.

Hospitality That Speaks Before You Do

Saikindō lives by Omotenashi, a Japanese approach to hospitality that makes you feel cared for before you even realise you needed something. You sit, and you’re greeted with thoughtful snacks. You ask for a recommendation, and the team suggests with eerie accuracy.

Cocktails That Sound Like Music

Beverage Director Marco Corallo and Head Mixologist Ann Pinsuda, two industry giants, are using AI to turn sound into flavour. Tempo, tone, and mood all translated into cocktails built around seasonal Japanese ingredients. Each drink comes with both spirited and spirit-free options.

Nights Built for People Who Appreciate Detail

Expect vinyl nights, guest DJs, sake tastings, and intimate classes, events that make you want to linger a little longer. It’s the kind of place you keep returning to. With Saikindō, Abu Dhabi’s nightlife got a serious upgrade.
