India’s First Monsoon Malabar Coffee-Infused Rum Is Here To Redefine Craft Spirits With Only 1,296 Bottles Per Batch

India has always had two great loves when it comes to indulgence: the comfort of a cup of coffee and the warmth of a good glass of rum. Now, for the very first time, both these worlds have come together in a single bottle. Blue Ocean Beverages Pvt. Ltd. has launched KAMA Kaapi Rum, India’s first Monsoon Malabar coffee–infused rum, and it’s set to completely change the way you look at your evening pour.

India’s First Coffee-Infused Rum Is Here

KAMA Kaapi Rum is the result of passion, craft, and heritage. The story begins in Chikmagalur, Karnataka, the birthplace of Indian coffee. Grown 1,040 metres above sea level, here you’ll find rare AAA-grade Arabica beans that thrive in rich red earth, are washed by the monsoon rains, and are cooled by fresh mountain breezes. These beans are roasted to a medium-dark profile, then carefully cold-brewed to bring out their earthy and woody character.

Finally, they’re infused into a blend of cane and molasses spirits, resulting in a rum that is smooth, bold, and deeply memorable. What sets it apart is not just the flavour but also the rarity. Each batch produces only 1,296 hand-numbered bottles, making it as collectable as it is enjoyable.

Open a bottle of KAMA Kaapi rum, and the aroma of roasted coffee beans and Chikmagalur wood notes will greet you. When you take the first sip, you will enjoy smooth chocolate flavour with a hint of nutty undertones. Lastly, what ties everything together are the rich, deep, and comforting caramel notes. The flavours will continue to linger even after the final sip.

India has always had a strong culture around coffee, while rum has been a celebratory drink across generations. KAMA Kaapi Rum is the first time these two iconic favourites have been united, and that’s what makes it so exciting.

So, whether you’re someone who loves trying new craft spirits or just curious about what India’s first coffee-infused rum tastes like, KAMA Kaapi Rum deserves a place on your shelf.
