On 15th August, they are serving special lunch and dinner Parsi New Year buffet menus filled with some of the community’s most loved dishes. You can dig into crispy Chicken Farcha, tangy and flavourful Sali Boti, and the beautifully steamed Patra Ni Macchi wrapped in banana leaves. The real charm here is that the menu is being cooked by six talented home chefs from Surat, known as the Parsi Culinary Queens, under the guidance of Chef Sunil Gangwal. These women have learnt recipes from their mothers and grandmothers, and now they’re bringing those dishes to a hotel setting without losing their homely touch. You can expect hearty Parsi curries, flavour-packed rice dishes, and desserts that taste like they came straight from someone’s kitchen.

Gallops is known for its old-world charm and stunning views of the racecourse, and this year, they are making Navroz extra special with a lavish menu available from 12th to 24th August. The experience starts with homemade pickles, papads, and chutneys. The appetisers include Pestonji’s Chutney Pattice (tangy chutney wrapped in mashed potato and fried), spiced Aflatoon Akuri with crisp khari biscuits, and Faredoon Na Farcha, a Parsi-style fried chicken that’s hard to resist. The mains, like Sexy Salli Boti, Machhi Na Curry, Dhan Dar Prawn Patio, Kolmi Ni Curry, and their Secret Dhansak Daal, are just as tempting. If you feel like turning your Navroz celebrations into a mini holiday, head to Parsi Dhaba at Della Resorts in Lonavala on 15th August.
