Soha Ali Khan, who recently shared her garlic hack to boost immunity, is now back again with another kitchen adventure. As part of her three-week cleanse, she decided to make homemade healthy chocolates. But that’s not the best part! She even shared a step-by-step recipe with her followers on Instagram.
Sharing the video, she wrote in the caption, “They say necessity is the mother of invention, so I tried to make some home-made healthy chocolates and they turned out super professional looking … but I think, somewhere along the way, I went wrong! ” But we don’t think she went wrong! The result looks absolutely delicious to us. Here is the full recipe.
Healthy Homemade Chocolate Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
- 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- Stevia (as per taste)
- A pinch of salt
- half a tsp vanilla essence
Method:
- Melt two tbsp. of coconut oil in a bowl placed over a pan of water on low heat.
- Add two tbsp. of unsweetened cocoa powder, stevia, and a pinch of salt.
- Stir the mixture continuously until it turns smooth, creamy, and glossy.
- Add half a tsp of vanilla essence and mix well.
- Pour the mixture into chocolate moulds or a tray.
- Let it sit for 20-30 minutes in the freezer.
- Once set, enjoy your bite-sized, healthy chocolates!
The chocolates are ready to be gorged on! These bite-sized chocolates are a great way to handle those cravings which strike us at midnight. However, one of the users also shared another hack and wrote, “You could use a microwave to melt the chocolate, a pinch of salt, and a little butter for the shine”. While another one also asked her to add dry fruits to the recipe to make it healthier.
