The prank sparked controversy, with many calling it offensive and in poor taste. After a lot of rage online, the YouTuber stepped up to apologise for his distasteful prank.
YouTuber Apologises For Chicken Prank At ISKCON Restaurant In London
Cenzo is a British-African YouTuber with 6,000 subscribers, who recently stirred a controversy by eating KFC chicken inside an ISKCON restaurant, has apologised for his misconduct. In the apology video, he revealed that as part of his prank, he had been targeting vegan restaurants in the area and eating meat inside their premises. Addressing the controversy, he said, “If I had known that the restaurant was with the temple, I would have never filmed that prank and left.”

“I stepped over the line and began to eat chicken in a vegan restaurant which was associated with the Hindu community. My actions were ill-timed and irresponsible,” he added. In the video, he also mentioned that he has contacted the restaurant and would revisit them with a sincere apology.

Chants Of ‘Hare Krishna’ Outside KFC
Despite Cenzo’s apology, he faced a lot of backlash for his disrespectful prank at the ISKCON restaurant. Now, days later, in what people are calling a response to the whole issue, a video shows ISKCON devotees standing at a KFC outlet, chanting ‘Hare Rama Hare Krishna’. The moment, shared on X by @bhaktSenapati, shows devotees chanting the lord’s name as a response to the man’s act and spreading the message of choosing consciousness over rage.

Customers at KFC can be seen joyfully joining the group with hearty smiles and claps. The internet has dubbed this the “coolest revenge” ever. Furthermore, ISKCON also released an official statement addressing the incident. The statement read, “We forgive and sincerely pray for the perpetrators of this undignified act, who, due to ignorance, are probably unaware or simply don’t care about the pain they are causing by making such childish videos.”
