Alright folks, here’s a solid piece of news if you’ve always dreamt of living that UAE lifestyle, think beach drives on Jumeirah, Friday brunches at Marina, and tax-free living! Let’s rewind a bit. Until now, if you wanted the UAE’s Golden Visa as an Indian, you either had to invest in property worth at least AED 2 million (yep, that’s around ₹4.66 crore) or pump serious money into a business here. But the rules have changed, habibi!

The UAE government has launched a new nomination-based Golden Visa. Instead of stressing over trade licences or buying expensive property, you can now apply by paying a one-time fee of AED 1,00,000, roughly ₹23.30 lakh. That’s it, no property paperwork or business set-up headaches. You pay, they check your background, and if you’re all clear, you get your long-term visa.

Rayad Group, the official consultancy handling the first phase of this nomination model in India, states that over 5,000 Indians are expected to seize this opportunity within just three months.

Who Can Apply?

The UAE isn’t handing out Golden Visas to just anyone. You’ll still need to fit into certain categories, but they’ve made it pretty broad and inclusive. Here’s who they’re rolling out the golden carpet for:

  • Investors and Entrepreneurs
  • High-achieving students
  • Scientists, school teachers, and university faculty
  • Nurses with over 15 years’ experience (Shoutout to all the hardworking heroes!)
  • YouTubers, Podcasters, Digital Creators
  • Accredited e-sports professionals aged 25 and above
  • Owners of luxury yachts and top maritime executives

But here’s the catch! Background checks are serious business. They’ll check your criminal record, money matters, and yes, even your social media.

How To Apply From India

The process is as easy as sipping karak at your favourite cafeteria. You can apply through:

  • One Vasco visa concierge centre in India and Bangladesh
  • Registered Rayad Group offices
  • Their online portal
  • A dedicated call centre for all your questions

Best part? You don’t even need to visit the UAE for pre-approval. Sort everything from the comfort of home, and once approved, pack your bags and bring the fam along. The Golden Visa also covers family members and even your domestic staff.

No Golden Visa For Crypto Investors

The UAE has cleared the air: no Golden Visas for crypto investors. VARA and the Securities and Commodities Authority confirmed that those flashy headlines linking virtual assets to Golden Visas are plain false. Cryptocurrency investments follow strict UAE laws but don’t count for visa perks. Authorities stressed sticking to official sources and licensed platforms only. Don’t fall for WhatsApp forwards or random social media claims, yalla! The UAE’s all about keeping things safe, transparent, and solid.

Final Thoughts

With no need to invest crores in property or set up shop, this nomination-based Golden Visa is opening doors for thousands who want to call this land of endless opportunities home.
