Sydney’s Mov’in Bed is an open-air movie theatre that uses actual beds in place of bean bags. This first open-air movie theatre opened its doors in Sydney in 2016. It came to a temporary stop during the COVID-19 lockdown. It made a comeback this summer with a fresh lineup of prescreening DJs, an urban beach setting, and improved beds along the ocean. Last year’s tickets sold out quickly, and for 2024, it’s back for an extended summer season. The outdoor cinema is a popular attraction in Sydney.
