Rishi Sunak Visited Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt In Bengaluru’s Jayanagar
On the ongoing auspicious Kartika month, Rishi Sunak offered prayers at this sacred temple in Jayanagar 5th Block in Bengaluru. He and his family members visited here on November 5 and pictures and videos of this spiritual trip are making rounds on social media platforms. Rishi Sunak’s in-laws, Narayana Murthy and Sudha Murty were present at this beautiful pilgrim centre as well.
They offered prayers at the mutt and also took part in performing rituals. Their recent visit to the sacred temple in Jayanagar showcased their strong connection to their roots and Indian traditions. It also reinforced cultural ties and spiritual heritage between India and the United Kingdom, according to a report by Livemint.
Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt is one of Bengaluru’s most sacred sites. The auspicious pilgrim centre is visited by many devotees throughout the year. Devotees offer prayers and seek blessings from Guru Raghavendra. Many people prefer travelling to this place during the month of Kartika. Andhra Pradesh’s Mantralayam is also home to Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt. Thousands of devotees visit this iconic adobe of bliss and peace.
The Former UK PM Celebrated Diwali With Loved Ones
Rishi Sunak and Akshata Murty celebrated the grand occasion of Diwali in Leicester. Sharing beautiful glimpses of the magnificent festivities, Akshata Murty wrote, “Embracing beginnings with joy and gratitude this Diwali. May this light bring blessings to everyone. Happy Diwali!”
Rishi Sunak is devotional and spiritual and believes in Indian culture and traditions. We have seen him visiting temples and celebrating festivals previously as well. It was in January 2024 when he offered prayers at BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir in London. In addition, he has been to different temples during his past trips to India.
