The decree, which was announced following a meeting of the Council of Ministers in Abu Dhabi on the evening of Monday, March 18, bears the stamp of approval from His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai. In a social media post, Sheikh Mohammed shared the outcome of the meeting, revealing the amendment to the executive regulations of the federal law regarding citizenship and passports.
