Starting January 27, new road restrictions will ban heavy vehicles during peak hours in Abu Dhabi. Trucks and tankers will no longer clog roads during morning rush hours (6:30 am–9 am) and evening traffic (3 pm–7 pm) from Monday to Thursday. Fridays will also see restrictions from 6:30 am–9 am and 11 am–1 pm. The move aims to ease congestion, boost road safety, and protect infrastructure.
