Initially covering JBR, Dubai Marina, Dubai Silicon Oasis, and Jumeirah Lake Towers, the service promises deliveries within a blink. Residents in JBR, Marina, and Silicon Oasis can enjoy the service 24/7, while JLT deliveries are available from 7 am to midnight. 3. Qatar Kite Festival 2025 Soars In Doha

The skies over Doha have transformed into a kaleidoscope of colour with the Qatar Kite Festival 2025 in full swing. Taking place at the Old Doha Port, the festival brings together teams from 18 countries, including Belgium, India, and Türkiye. Each kite showcases national symbols, cultural motifs, and intricate designs, celebrating artistry and unity. 6. Abu Dhabi’s Heavy Vehicle Ban

Starting January 27, new road restrictions will ban heavy vehicles during peak hours in Abu Dhabi. Trucks and tankers will no longer clog roads during morning rush hours (6:30 am–9 am) and evening traffic (3 pm–7 pm) from Monday to Thursday. Fridays will also see restrictions from 6:30 am–9 am and 11 am–1 pm. The move aims to ease congestion, boost road safety, and protect infrastructure. Neighbouring emirates are adopting similar initiatives, signalling a regional effort to tackle traffic woes.
