#ExploreIndianIslands

Recently, three Maldivian ministers made derogatory remarks about Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent visit to Lakshadweep. This sparked a controversy and Indians are now attempting to boycott going to Maldives. In its stead, a heavy focus is now being put on Lakshadweep, the Indian Union territory which is also known for pristine beaches. This gave rise to many people using the #ExploreIndianIslands. Users highlighted Lakshadweep and other Indian islands to explore and even some celebrities recommended a few places to go.
