December is certainly going to be happening in Saudi Arabia, especially in Riyadh to be precise. With so many events lined up for the month of December, one can totally expect that it’s going to be a fun-filled affair. In fact, the Music Commission has said that it will be holding the first-ever Riyadh Music Week. This will be in partnership with the Saudi Research and Media Group and MDLBeast.

Riyadh Music Week Begins On December 5

The sector-specific commission under the Ministry of Culture announced that Riyadh Music Week will be running from December 5 to 14. Happening across several venues in Riyadh, the Riyadh Music Week will feature some of the most exclusive and awaited musical events in the city.

It will also include the Global Music Makers Summit. This is a new event that brings together leaders and global policymakers from the sector. Moreover, according to a report by the Saudi Press Agency, it was mentioned that this week will also highlight the traditional music community. And this will be done through the activation of small venues, which will be scattered around the city.

What Will Happen During The Week?

Featuring live performances that showcase the diversity of local Saudi talent, it’s bound to draw interest from the people. The calendar also includes the Music Cities Convention and Awards. This global event is being held in the Middle East. Moreover, there will be a bunch of panel sessions, seminars, and workshops that will also cover the latest developments in the global music scene. Some of the key music moments happen to be XP Music Futures, Billboard Arabia Music Awards, and SoundStorm. A platform for local and international collaboration, the event celebrates Saudi Music, which will also help in displaying regional talents.

So, get ready for a week of complete entertainment this December.
