What is that one thing you dislike but still end up watching on social media? For me and many avid social media users, it has to be bizarre videos of experimenting with our beloved food items. From cakes to vada pav to biryani, people continue to make uniquely weird recipe videos. Here are some similar videos that have left us questioning the actual necessity of these creations.

1. Chocolate Paan Vada Pav
A video shared by creator Foodie Rana (@foodie_rana_) shows a woman selling a sweet version of vada pav at a local street-side shop in Delhi. She cut pav and stuffed thecha, chocolate-coated paan, cherries, and chocolate sauce in it. She garnished it with chocolate sauce and a cherry on top.
2. Onion Coffee
Digital creator Calvin Lee tried coffee with onions. Sounds weird, right? Well, the taste isn’t that great either. He dipped a few slices of onion in a cup of coffee and called it “uncomfortable”. Reviewing the combination, he shared that onions’ spicy flavours make the beverage extra bitter.
3. Mango Biryani
One of the recent bizarre food videos is an unexpected experiment with our forever favourite biryani. Heena Kausar Raad cooked mango biryani for a summer tropical party. The rice was bright yellow, unlike all the biryani that we have tried before. She also garnished it with a juicy cubed mango.
4. Chicken Cake
Beenish (@dailyhub__) baked a cake with some unusual and completely unpredictable ingredients. To make an eggless chicken cake bread, she used flour, sugar, salt, yeast, milk powder, bread softener ekka, oil, and water. She stuffed the bread with a chicken marination. To make this savoury filling, she used chicken, ginger paste, garlic paste, tikka masala, oil, cabbage, capsicum, carrots, mayonnaise, salt, cream, and black pepper powder. We are not really excited or interested to try this unusual cake recipe. What about you?
