The monsoon seaon is slowly marking its presence all around India. Different states have begun to receive heavy rainfall with weather predictions for downpours in the next couple of days. Many national parks, wildlife sanctuaries, and tiger reserves close their doors for visitors ahead of the rainy season to ensure wildlife and tourists’ safety and for animals’ breeding season. 1. Dudhwa Tiger Reserve

Nestled in Uttar Pradesh, Dudhwa Tiger Reserve closed its doors to travellers on July 27. Though this tiger reserve usually shuts down on July 15, the gates were open for additional days this year. Tourists can once again explore this place from November 15.

2. Orang National Park Is Closed

Ahead of the rainy season, different fun-filled activities at the Orang National Park in Assam have been stopped. The place is now closed. Home to abundant flora and fauna, witness the Great Indian one-horned rhinoceros, Bengal tiger, and Asian elephant here.

3. Pench National Park

With the onset of monsoon season, tourists-favourite Pench National Park remains shut from July to September. Rainfall and storms lash this park every year. To ensure safety, the doors are kept closed for visitors.

4. Tadoba National Park

Maharashtra’s Tadoba National Park announced the closure on its official website. According to the available information, the wildlife sanctuary in the Chandrapur district stays open and welcomes guests between October 15 and June 30.

5. Ranthambore National Park

According to the official website of Ranthambore National Park, this beautiful wildlife reserve in Rajasthan stays shut for visitors from July 1 to September 30. This famous national park is well-renowned for being home to majestic tigers.
