The Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation is soon going run its premium Shivneri Buses on Atal Setu. Also known as the Mumbai Trance Harbour Link, it will see the premium buses ply on a pilot basis between Mumbai and Pune. Here’s all you need to know about this development related to the travel between the two cities.

MSRTC To Begin Shivneri Bus Service On Atal Setu

According to a report by Times Now News, it was revealed that MSRTC is planning to operate two Shivneri buses on the Mumbai-Pune route via the Atal Setu on a pilot basis. However, it’s worth noting that these buses will have no change in the fare. And it begins on February 20, Tuesday. According to the information shared by the Maharashtra State Transport Corporation, the buses will begin from Pune Station at 6:30 AM to reach Mantralaya by 11 AM through Shivneri Volvo. And from Swargate it will begin at 7 AM and reach Dadar at 1 PM through E – Shivneri.

If you also wish to travel between the two cities with the help of these buses, you can make a reservation at any of the depots and bus stations of this reservation department. Not to mention, you can also book your tickets online for the buses from the MSRTC website. In fact, the bookings can also be made through the mobile app.

As it happens, the buses operating on the two routes will be plying during the peak hour rush and are expected to save an hour of travel time once the service begins. As it happens, it will also be going via Panvel Nava Sheva Sewree Marg. The Mumbai Trance Harbour Link, which is officially named the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Harbour Link is the newest addition to Mumbai. The sea bridge has already recorded traffic of over eight lakh vehicles, as previously reported by live meant.
