Global leaders gathered for the two-day G20 meeting in New Delhi, India, to explore how to work together more effectively to address some of the most important global concerns. Many world leaders like Justin Trudeau, Joe Biden, Anthony Albanese, Rishi Sunak and more attend this Summit. Rishi Sunak recently posted a video and shared the best moments from his India visit! Rishi Sunak Shares The Best Moments From His India Visit

While there were many well-known dignitaries from all around the world at the summit, UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and his wife first lady of UK Akshata Murty caught many people’s attention. The reason behind this was it was the first time Sunak was visiting India after becoming prime minister of UK in October 2022.

Union Minister Ashwini Kumar Choubey received Sunak and his wife at the airport. A rudraksha, Hanuman Chalisa and a copy of the Bhagavad Gita were gifted to Sunak by Choubey. 

Rishi Sunak posted a video on his Instagram account sharing the best moments from his visit to India. He flew down to India ahead of the G20 Summit on September 8, 2023. He visited the British council.

On Saturday, UK Prime Minister Sunak and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a meeting with each other.  Sunak was seen indulging in conversations with PM Modi and later hugging him in photos that were posted on social media by The PM following the meeting.

Paid Respects To Mahatma Gandhi

Saffron-clad monks are shown greeting and posing with the British prime minister in a post released by the temple’s social media account on X (previously Twitter). Also visible was Akshata Murthy, Rishi Sunak’s wife and first lady of the UK. The visit was a celebration of the shared cultural legacy of the UK and India, according to the caption.

The pair also went to Rajghat to pay their respects to Mahatma Gandhi. Sunak had previously mentioned his pride in being a Hindu and how he and his siblings had celebrated Raksha Bandhan in August.

The video ends with the couple getting back into the aircraft to leave for United Kingdom.
