McDonald’s Launches ‘Flavours Of India’ Burgers
McDonald’s India (West & South) has launched a new ‘Flavours of India’ menu. Taking inspiration from seven different chillies found in India, the burgers are packed with fiery notes. Perhaps, this is what spice lovers have been yearning for in desi fast food for quite awhile. The limited-time range of burgers has reimagined its iconic McAloo Tikki, McVeggie and McChicken burgers.
To make them Truly Indian Burgers, these burgers have a fiery blend of Gujarat’s Bhavnagri chilli, Tamil Nadu’s Laungi chilli, Karnataka’s Byadgi chilli, Kerala’s Kanthari chilli, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana’s Guntur chilli, Maharashtra’s Kolhapuri chilli and Chhatisgarh and Madhya Pradesh’s Jwala chilli.
Arvind R.P., Chief Marketing Officer, McDonald’s India (W&S) shared a statement on the new menu launch. He said the new ‘Flavours of India’ burgers showcase the brand’s commitment to democratise its menu and creating value for its fans. It’s a way for McD to give more reasons to its consumers to enjoy the burgers.

Loaded With 7 Chillies From Across India
By incorporating these seven chillies from different regions of India, McD India aspires to offer a truly inclusive and locally relevant menu. The fact that the burgers are made with chillies from customers’ home states could also create a sense of regional inclusivity. The new chilli-filled menu celebrates the versatile chillies of India which have for time immemorial elevated the flavours of regional cuisines.
