The Abu Dhabi Cultural Foundation doesn’t shy away from bold artistic statements. This autumn, two exciting exhibitions take centre stage.
1. Zineb Sedira: A Way of Surviving, A Way of Life…
Kicking off the exhibition scene is Zineb Sedira’s remarkable showcase, “A Way of Surviving, a Way of Life…”. The exhibition will be held between 3rd October 2024 and 8th March 2025. Sedira’s cinematic masterpieces delve into themes of migration, identity, and cultural activism. Films like Dreams Have No Titles and Mother Tongue will take you on a deep journey of identity, blending personal narrative with global cultural dynamics. It’s a visual exploration that lingers long after you’ve left.

2. Emirati Crafts: The Art of Weaving
This interactive exhibition targets children aged 5 to 12. Aimed at children aged 5 to 12, this show reveals the beauty and intricacies of traditional UAE weaving crafts, including Sadu, Talli, Khoos, and Gargour. With digital games, guided tutorials, and hands-on activities, the little ones will learn these time-honoured skills in the most playful way possible.

September sets the stage for the cultural shows. An exciting line-up of music, dance, and theatre performances would be played through the end of the year arranged by Abu Dhabi Cultural Foundation.
1. A Moonmoment to Remember: Cultural China Charming Hunan – This live spectacle, featuring music, dance, and acrobatics, brings the folklore and traditions of China’s Hunan Province to life. Over 40 talented artists will enthral the audience with puppet shows, vocal mimicry, and stunning acrobatics.

2. There’s A Monster In Your Show: A musical theatre production that promises an interactive, heartwarming performance that brings a lovable monster and his friends to life.

3. Swan Lake on Ice: Professional ice skaters reimagine Tchaikovsky’s classic love story. The dazzling costumes, graceful performances, and awe-inspiring choreography make this show a must-see for anyone who loves dance and drama.

4. Authentic Flamenco: Daniel Casares: This celebrated performance, happening on 1 and 2 November, promises an unforgettable flamenco experience in partnership with Teatro Real de Madrid.

5. Meeting Mozart: This intimate show, presented by Conor Neylon and Constanze, explores the genius of Mozart in a unique and personal way.
