Rajat Kapoor Reminised His Fondest Food Memories Of Delhi

It was time for Rajat Kapoor to go on a trip down memory lane while simultaneously exploring the lanes of his childhood home in Chandni Chowk, Delhi. The true Delhiite in him was beyond excited to embark on his food journey with us. The reason? The star revealed that his grandparents resided in Katra Neel, Chandni Chowk and that Delhi is close to his heart.

He recalled some of his unforgettable food-related memories in the capital of India. Rajat told us, “I was fond of Wenger’s pineapple pastry to parathe wali gali’s food in Chandni Chowk.” Living in Old Delhi had a different charm to it as he added that food items like halwa, mathri and bedmi aloo were consumed for breakfast!

Woah! Imagine, as a kid, waking up in the morning and craving a freshly made plate of bedmi puri and aloo sabzi along with ghee-soaked halwa and then, having the opportunity to enjoy these freshly made! Must be fascinating, Rajat!

Delhi truly evokes so much nostalgia for Rajat and we were able to witness and enjoy it with him!
