From Pune to Mumbai to Kolkata, most Indian cities are waking up to colder mornings where the bed feels too cosy to leave. What are the weather updates in other places in India? Taking to X, K S Hosalikar (@Hosalikar_KS) shared updates about Pune’s weather.

On November 26, this city in Maharashtra experienced the coldest weather of this winter season so far. The Shivajinagar area recorded the temperature dropping to 9.9°C for the first time this season. Nearby places such as Haveli, NDA, Girivan, Ballalwadi, Dapodi, Koregaon Park, Daund, Ambegaon, Malin, Pashan, Lonavala, Dapodi, Bhor, Malin, Narayangaon, Lavasa, Indapur, Nimgiri, Dhamdhere, Hadapsar, and Baramati reported colder temperatures as well.

Since the last couple of days, the weather in Mumbai has been drastically changing. Though the city does not experience winter chills like most other Indian cities, residents woke up to colder temperatures on Tuesday and Wednesday. Yesterday, the ‘City of Dreams’ recorded 16.8°C, marking the coldest November month in the last eight years.

As of now, Kolkata’s coldest temperature dipped to 17.2°C this winter season. There was a rainfall prediction on November 26 as well. The temperature may increase by a small margin in the next couple of days.

Temperatures are likely to plunge with a rise in chills in Delhi. The Meteorological Department predicted that the national capital will experience light to moderate fog on November 27. For the next two days, a yellow fog alert has been issued. The city’s Air Quality Index is persistent in the ‘very poor’ category.

Bengaluru is known nationwide for its pleasant climate all around the year. As per the India Meteorological Department’s predictions, the Karnataka capital and nearby places are likely to receive moderate intermittent rainfall or thundershowers starting November 27.
