Catavinum organises the IWSA in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain, and it is well-known for its tough judging process. The tournament got over 2,300 entries from throughout the world, making D’YAVOL’s win even more significant.
As shared in a press release, Shah Rukh Khan, Co-Founder of the group said that standing out among diverse expressions was a rewarding experience. D’YAVOL has received distinctions from major international awarding agencies and connoisseurs. The collective’s blended malt scotch whisky, D’YAVOL INCEPTION, received a Great Gold award at the IWSA, adding to their list of achievements. D’YAVOL’s whisky collection has won many gold medals in prominent global competitions, including the International Spirits Challenge (ISC) and the International Wine and Spirits Competition (IWSC) this year.

D’YAVOL VORTEX, a malt-forward blended Scotch whiskey, will be released in 2024. Crafted with precision, it is a blend of single malt and single grain whiskies from Scotland’s Lowlands, Highlands, Speyside, and Islay regions.
