From Taj To Marriott To ITC, Ayodhya Is Expected To Get New Hotels In The Coming Years

Ayodhya has been seeing quite a noticeable tourism footfall all around the year. But soon, the numbers are going to skyrocket with tourists from different places. The much-awaited grand opening of Ram Mandir is a significant reason to boost the tourism sector immensely and slowly transform the city into a hub for hospitality and travel. With everyone preparing for the big day on January 22, hoteliers are taking steps to positively push ahead their business as well.

Ahead Of The Ram Mandir Inauguration, Projects Of Major Properties Are Lined Up In Ayodhya

Devotees have been eagerly waiting for the Ram Mandir and now that the day is getting closer, everyone is getting excited to witness the historical event. There are no doubts about how this city in Uttar Pradesh is going to witness a huge tourist influx. From India and abroad, devotees and travellers are already excited to travel to Ayodhya. Seeing the massive rise in demand for holidaying in this sacred city, many hotel chains are coming up with new stays and properties here.

It is also expected that the surge in tourism and pilgrimage footfall is going to be a short-term matter but it is likely to be here to continue for a long time. Many prominent hoteliers and chains are launching their accommodation options in Ayodhya. The Indian Hotels Company Ltd. (IHCL) is establishing 2 new properties in this city in Uttar Pradesh.

In a conversation with Business Today, Suma Venkatesh, IHCL’s Executive Vice President of Real Estate & Development, shared that the company is launching a Vivanta hotel with 100 rooms and a Ginger hotel with 120 rooms. Both the new properties are coming up close to the new Ayodhya International Airport. The plans are on to start operating the hotels within 36 months.

More Hotels Are Also Coming Up In The Holy City

Next on the list of hotel chain operators planning to open properties in Ayodhya is ITC Ltd. Radisson Hotel Group recently announced the opening of Park Inn by Radisson Ayodhya in the heart of the city. Also, Marriott International will bring luxe hotel options here. There are a few more hotel chains that are ready to open properties in this city, according to JLL India.

Thanks to all the hoteliers, thousands of rooms are soon going to open and operate in the city. These are renowned hotels known for providing amazing experiences to their guests.
