1. Kashmir Great Lakes Trek

One should at least do this walk once in their life because the scenery is so breathtaking and the scale of the canvas is so enormous. It is a six-day moderate-to-tough journey with long trekking days and difficult ascents and descents without obvious ways out.

2. Gurez Trek

You must walk 38 kilometres to get there, which is located at an elevation of 13,185 feet. The walk is also well-known for its topography, landscape, weather, and other factors. This trek is doable for novices. From the vantage point above Gurez Valley, one can see the Habba Khatoon Mountain and the LOC, dividing Indian and Pakistani settlements.

3. Tarsar Marsar Trek

One of the most beautiful treks you can take in India is this one. You will reach Kashmir’s interior on this walk. The backdrop of Tarsar Marsar is such that you must see it to believe it, from the quaint village of Aru to the rolling green mountains of Shekhawas.

4. Bodpathri

Bodpathri, a lesser-known but outstanding alpine lake trip in Kashmir, is exceptional for its picturesque surroundings and huge meadows. This trip will lead you beneath the spectacular peaks of Pir Panjal, across the lush carpet of grass, and along the alpine lakes.
