According to the survey by CNBC, these states in America are the 10 worst to live and work in:

      10. Florida

The highest proportion of residents in Texas lack health insurance, putting a sizable segment of the populace at danger. In terms of crime rates, Texas comes in at number 13. The state has also come under fire for regulations that restrict voting and target the LGBTQ+ population. 

Although Oklahoma faces difficulties in areas like drug misuse and a lack of health insurance, there is some good news about air quality. The state has maintained high air quality, which is essential for fostering an atmosphere that is healthy for its citizens. (As per News 18)

With the fourth-highest rate of premature deaths, Alabama is one of the least healthy states in the nation. Both of these states are in fourth place. 

CNBC conducted this study to know how welcoming the states are to the people coming to work here and their families. One of the 10 competitiveness categories of the survey is Life, Health, and Inclusion.

They take into account a variety of aspects that affect quality of life, such as crime rates, environmental quality, and healthcare. One of the key elements in encouraging parents to return to employment is the standard and accessibility of daycare.  (as per CNBC)
