Air India is India’s leading global airline, owned by the Tata Group enterprises. Air India has announced the rebranding and reorganisation of fare families across all cabins. The redesigned, improved, and simplified fare families are intended to be in line with the changing customer preferences in markets. The airline’s fare families let customers select the package that best suits their specific requirements.

These Are The Rebranded Fares Families

Air India has recently launched eight new fare families in four different cabin classes: First, Business, Premium Economy, and Economy. Taking into account the nominal upsell value, these fare families offer more baggage allowance as well as flexibility with regard to cancellation and date changes.

Over time, Air India intends to improve these stack options for convenience and to give more options to travellers.

In addition to the updated costs and package, free hot lunch services, a free allowance for carry-on bags, and reward points will be given to members under Air India’s flying returns loyalty programme in addition to the aforementioned benefits. All of these extras provide a thorough and complete flight experience for every traveller. All domestic and international flights now offer these redesigned ticket groups.

Air India’s Rebranded Fare Families For Europe & UK

In order to better reflect market trends, Air India has also reorganised its fare families on routes to Europe and the United Kingdom. In this restructure, only economy class reservations can use Air India’s ‘value’ rate, which offers a reasonably priced option with 23 kg of checked baggage but limited flexibility in terms of travel schedule.

Air India’s ‘classic and ‘flex’ prices provide enhanced baggage limit and flexibility for travellers, allowing up to two pieces of checked baggage in Economy class, each weighing 23 kg.

“Rebranded and simplified the fare families to provide a unique product and service value proposition,” said Air India’s Chief Commercial Officer, Nipun Aggarwal, in a press release.
