Pranpur Sabarvani Ladpura

Madhya Pradesh has secured its place in India’s tourism spotlight. The Ministry of Tourism has declared Pranpur, Sabarvani, and Ladpura Khas the best tourism villages in the country. Each of these villages has something unique to offer. This recognition highlights their potential to draw both domestic and international tourists.

Best Tourism Villages In The Country

The announcement was made on 27 September, coinciding with World Tourism Day. Ms Bidisha Mukherjee, Additional Managing Director of the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board, received the award in New Delhi alongside representatives from the honoured villages.

This award will elevate these villages to global prominence. An increase in both domestic and international visitors is expected, which will create jobs and strengthen the local economy. The award also ensures the preservation of their cultural heritage, including ancient arts and crafts. This honour follows the recognition of Madla village in Panna district and Khokhar village in Sidhi district in 2023, which received the Gold and Bronze awards respectively in the Best Tourism Village competition.
