Dubai has been always been the birthplace of extravagant infrastructure. But even their shelved project blew the world. They had plans to launch a train that travels beneath the sea. From Mumbai to Dubai, no less. The United Arab Emirates has excelled in practically every area. And if this underwater train project recovers from the ban, no doubt it’s getting etched in history.
First-Ever Futuristic Floating Underwater Train
UAE is one of the countries that has always invested in making dreams come true. Technology has outsmarted the world by investing in smart tunnels. The UAE intends to construct a high-speed underwater railroad connecting Mumbai and Dubai. It’s supposed to set a new standard.

National Advisor Bureau Limited, a UAE-based corporation, offered to run an underwater floating network. This undersea network will link the two countries. It would transport people as well as oil and other supplies. This concept was born out of a desire to increase travel among India and the United Arab Emirates. A YouTube account by the name BE AMAZED has posted a video explaining the working model of the train which is going viral. Watch:
Following Are The Primary Predicted Plan Gains
- Passengers, tourists, and workers transportation through UAE and India (Also GCC countries).
- Use a pipeline to transport oil and gas between Fujairah Port to India, as well as China and Pakistan.
- Import water from the Narmada River to the UAE.
- Transportation of goods and commodities between the two countries.
- Use a floating bunker fuel station to supply bunker fuel to ships travelling between the floating hydrofoils.
Similar Proposed Projects
Before this Project between UAE-Mumbai, India’s first-ever underwater bullet train was in-process. It would have its route between Ahmedabad to Mumbai. Travel underwater for a full 7 km between Thane Creek and Virar. The speed might be a whopping 349km/h making you reach from Ahmedabad to Mumbai in just 3 hours. That’s less than half the time taken by the fastest Duronto express.
