The newest pizza restaurant on the block is Alt Pizza, a Singaporean company with an Asian-inspired menu. The same people who started Nasi and Mee in Koramangala are also behind this space. It has a diner-but-better vibe and looks like it came straight out of a colourful Pinterest board with minimal decor.
Alt Pizza Is A Diner With All things Yum
Right above Nasi and Mee, Singapore-based Alt Pizza has opened for business. Alt Pizza adamantly states that it is NOT Italian, with wholesome sourdough pizzas at the centre of its condensed menu. Sophia, the brand’s very own sourdough starter, is where the distinction begins. Sophia travelled all the way from Singapore to India to produce the ideal pie.
The menu items may appear unfamiliar, but that is only because the chefs have experimented with the flavours to incorporate ingredients that aren’t frequently used in traditional Italian cooking. Do Burrata, chilli jam, and tahini go well together as an appetiser? They do this in the dish known as Bang Bang Burrata! The Oh Sweet Garlic is a delicious concoction of cheese, honey, and garlic. For anyone who wants to avoid the cheese, the Beetroot Carpaccio will counterbalance the strong flavours.

Drool Over Pizzas & More
Along with pizzas, the menu offers other dishes like wings, appetisers, salads, desserts, and refreshing non-alcoholic drinks that, when combined, make a delicious meal.
Try the 4000, which includes chopped tomatoes, pork salami, mozzarella, shaved parmesan, a hint of jalapeno, and Bhuvanagiri chillies. For your pie, Say Cheese offers bocconcini, mozzarella, aged cheddar, parmesan, and blue cheese. Don’t Goat Me Started is a dish with delicious flavours that combines crushed lamb meatballs, roasted mushrooms, onion, mozzarella, and a hint of za’atar. Do you remember when we said that the pizzas here are not Italian?
The Oh Sweet Garlic, one of the appetisers, is Alt’s version of garlic bread. Let’s just say that you have to give it a shot. Try the Lamb Kawarma, which features a bed of creamy hummus and lamb with a light spice.
Alt’s crust dips in either the blue cheese or olive aioli flavours are perfect for topping off pizza crusts when you need a little something extra.
